I forgot to take pictures of my hot dog at the Columbus Clippers game at the new ballpark yesterday.
But I did get a picture of these hot dogs. Although it looks like they’re going to attack that player from the Toledo Mud Hens, they’re actually just racing each other down the field.
The one in front is a relish hot dog, with mustard and ketchup close behind. Relish won. Relish always wins.*
I must say that the food is the winner at the new ball park, with local favorites such as Bob Evans and City Barbecue. And although I didn’t partake in the beer part of the baseball experience, I did notice some great beers on tap, including Goose Island’s 312 Urban Wheat. (I didn’t spy Columbus Brewing Company, but I wasn’t looking very closely, either.)
My hot dog, by the way, was great.
Oh. And the Clippers beat the Mud Hens 7-5, if you care about that sort of thing. Next time, I told Baseball Boy, I’m actually going to watch the game.
*I don’t know if this is actually true.
