Maya and I met in a film class in Athens, Ohio, which makes the place both birthplace of our friendship and Itinerant Foodies. It’s widely known (or should be) that Athens is Ohio’s food mecca. Whenever I go down there, I try to fit as many meals (and drinks) as possible, but if I only have a little room in my belly, and have cash on me, my first stop is Burrito Buggy. Always.
My dear friend CMH Gourmand has somehow convinced the Burrito Buggy to come to Columbus. This weekend. So. If you are a fan of Itinerant Foodies and if you are in or near Columbus this Saturday, March 19th, you need to come order one or six of these burritos made by real hippies. These burritos will change your life. Click the link for details. Meanwhile, because I somehow cannot find pictures of my beloved Burrito Buggy, enjoy this picture of Maya drinking at what is now Jackie O’s and used to be O’Hooley’s, one of the places we were known to go to to pre-game (or skip) our screenwriting class. This, of course, is why you’ll notice that neither of us are filmmakers.
