A couple of weekends ago, I left my sickbed to attend the inaugural Beer Camp meeting with a few friends. It didn’t take long for innocent gatherings such as Cupcake Camp and Bacon Camp to travel down the road of fermentation. Columbus will, in March of 2010, play host to its first ever Beer Camp (and parade). I don’t want to spoil all the fun, but I do want to brag, for just a second.

It pays to have someone from the dairy industry be on your Beer Camp Board of Directors, especially right after she’s returned from gallivanting around Europe for a month. That Gransardo (gentle to a lactose-intolerant tummy) was worth leaving my bed.
Stay tuned for more Beer Camp info.

We’re going to have to get you some cheese, then. I wonder what cheeses would keep in a package mailed to the Philippines…

Don’t forget to check on customs regulations. Would suck to have such a great package confiscated when it got there.
